Hauppauge, NY – For the first time, Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion products will be exhibiting at the Annual PACKEXPO Conference BOOTH SU-25081, September 29 – October 1, being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
The PACKEXPO Annual Conference is the largest, dedicated gathering of packaging and processing industry professionals, suppliers and OEMs exhibiting the latest advances.

At PACKEXPO, Spellman will feature its latest products, including the DXM SubSystem with beryllium window tube, specifically designed for low power NDT imaging applications such as food process inspection, fill level confirmation and pharmaceutical packaging. Our low ripple, high stability, highly reliable DXM generators are compact and lightweight models ranging from 20kV to 100kV. They can be specifically configured to power your X-Ray tube of choice and can be customized for your needs.

Another featured product is the XRB011, an 80kV @ 20W/50W X-Ray source. The XRBe011 with beryllium window is also available at standard 50kW @ 50W X-Ray source. The XRB011 Monoblock® consists of an integrated X-Ray supply, filament supply, X-Ray tube, beam port and control electronics. Both have a 33 micron focal spot, standard analog or digital control interface, and can be mounted in any physical configuration. Both are customizable for specific OEM needs.
The DXM160 and DXB320, both the latest product offerings in their series, will also be displayed. Both the DXM and DXB X-Ray generators have universal input, small package size and choice of three standard digital interfaces which simplify integrating into your X-Ray analysis system. DXM models, designed for OEM applications up to 160kV, are available to operate either floating filament (negative HV polarity) or ground referenced filament (positive HV polarity), X-Ray tube designs. The DXB series of bipolar X-Ray generator modules are designed for applications up to 320kV (+/-160kV) at 1200 watts. Both units have DSP based emission control circuitry, which provides excellent regulation of emission current, along with outstanding stability performance.
Typical applications for the DXM160 include plastics sorting, food inspection and packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, plating measurement, mineral analysis, X-Ray fluorescence and X-Ray diffraction. Typical applications for the DXB320 are similar but also include Industrial CT, cargo screening and other NDT applications such as food and pharmaceutical industry inspection.
Demonstration units can be requested on a first come first served basis. Spellman’s continued commitment to product enhancements and growth in the X-Ray NDT market is propelling the DXM and DXB Series to new heights.
