    Insulation Techniques

    Spellman has expertise in a variety of insulation systems. Instead of focusing on just one insulation system, Spellman has developed skills in all methods of high voltage insulation technology.     Monoblock® Technology

    Spellman has set the standard in development of integrated X-Ray sources with its Monoblock® series of X-Ray generators. Our custom OEM designs are used in a variety of applications like baggage screening, explosive detection, medical imaging, food inspection and non-destructive testing. These units have design complexities far beyond a traditional high voltage power supply. Issue like X-Ray tube packaging and cooling, X-Ray beam port and window design and radiation shielding are just some of the items our X-Ray Development Group deals with each day. From a solid encapsulated Monoblock® X-Ray source for bone densitometry or an oil encapsulated Monoblock® for a rotating CT scanner, Spellman's engineers have what it takes to design the X-Ray source you need.

Spellman's diverse engineering capabilities range from miniature 200 milliwatt wave solderable SMT modules for used in medical diagnostics, to powerful 120 kilowatt multi-chassis rack mounted high voltage power supply units powering industrial magnetrons.
