Spellman High Voltage Expands its X-Ray Product Line
February 2, 2009. Hauppauge, NY - Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation announces the expansion of its comprehensive X-Ray Generator and Monoblock® X-Ray source product line, with the new modular DXM 1200W X-Ray Generator Series.
This compact and lightweight series measures 4.75"H x 12"W x 12"D (120.7mm X 304.8mm X 3048mm) and weighs only 26lbs (11.8kg). At a maximum power of 1200 Watts, the cost-effective DXM 1200W offers output voltages from 20kV to 70kV.
Designed to power X-Ray tubes from most well known tube manufacturers, the DXM 1200W can be configured for either floating filament or grounded filament operation (like the presently available 300 and 600W DXM versions). DSP-based emission control circuitry provides excellent regulation of emission current (<0.01%) with="" superior="" stability="" performance=""><>
Spellman's proprietary SIC (Standard Interface Card) option is built into all DXM X-Ray generators, providing users with the simultaneous availability of RS232, Ethernet or USB digital interface control. A Windows based graphical user interface (GUI) is provided. Built-in diagnostics can be performed over Ethernet via a Java Applet on any standard web browser.
The DXM series features power factor corrected universal input, and is CE marked. Spellman's DXM easily integrates into X-Rays systems used for XRD, XRF, and a wide variety of industrial and analytical applications from thickness gauging and plastics sorting to NDT. Spellman's cost-effective DXM modules can be customized for unique OEM requirements.
