Job Description for Repair Engineer

Job Title: Repair Engineer

Direct Reports to/Dotted Line to: Customer service manager Asia

Internal:

• Sales, MFG, Engineering, QA Depts. and the relevant people

External: Customers

Job Summary & Purposes

• Repair / troubleshoot the returned power supplies from customers.
• Perform testing of power supplies.
• May be required to work with engineering on technical issues and recommend test method changes on new product releases/developments.
• Reports to supervisor or lead person.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Repairing / Trouble shooting for customer return units.
• Repairing and Testing setup/equipment maintenance. (Calibration maintenance.)
• X-ray radiation document management
• Provide product repairing report and analysis report.
• Spare parts for safety inventory. Defective components collect.
• Cooperate with other depts. to meet customer requirements.
• Other job and responsibilities assigned by direct leader.

• Familiar with switching power supplying principles.
• Familiar with power inverter principles. 
• Repairing flow process for electronic products.

Professional Skills & Certificates

• IPC standard (soldering) preferred.
• Familiar with office software and skillful operation.
• Basic command of English skill.
